Alex Smith is co-founder of The Sustainability Group and co-leads the development of both the consultancy practice and the SaaS platform FuturePlus. Prior to setting up The Sustainability Group, Smith navigated roles in both professional sailing, hospitality and events and most recently worked across commercial, social, and environmental impact projects with brands, rights holders, organisations, and governments across the globe as commercial director of Clipper Round the World Yacht Race. With FuturePlus and The Sustainability Group, she has advised diverse brands as well as numerous small and medium-sized enterprises on how to be profitable, sustainable, and ethical.Smith is a trustee of the Better Coffee Foundation set up by Grind Coffee and is a TEDx speaker.
