Laurence Boyd
Laurence Boyd is a senior sports media and technology executive, currently chief content and product officer at the E1 Series, the world’s first all-electric boat racing championship. He oversees broadcast, digital, social and marketing strategy, with a particular focus on innovation, fan engagement and product growth. He is recognised as a disruptor in sports broadcasting, having been part of the teams that launched the IPL and produced the London 2012 Paralympics for Channel 4. He introduced Augmented Reality and helmet cameras into motorsport broadcasting with Formula E and loves to talk about content, XR and media strategy across sport and entertainment. He supports Watford FC and lives in Chorleywood with his wife, daughter, son and dog, Scruff.
