Russ Jefferys is an experienced sports industry leader with a proven track record of achieving impact at scale. With a career that has spanned working with and for brands, rights holders and agencies, in 2025 he launched MOVE Sports Marketing to provide strategic, commercial and marketing consultancy to the running and mass participation industry.

In the decade prior, he was a senior executive and ultimately CEO at parkrun, overseeing the growth of the organisation to 450,000 participants at more than 2,500 weekly events in 23 countries around the world. By its 20th anniversary in 2024, parkrun was widely recognised as one of the most innovative and disruptive forces in running and physical activity of the 21st century, and celebrated as a vital public health initiative.
